Events
the Roane School of Isshin-ryu participates in many events throughout the year. Although students are only required to attend events held at our dojo, they are certainly encouraged to attend others. The I.I.K.A. holds some the most knowledgeable isshin-ryu practitioners around so students are guaranteed to learn something.
The Roane School of Isshin-ryu also competes in tournaments. Tournament competition is not required but also highly encouraged since it affords the student to test skills and also see a wider range of skills and ways of doing things. Tournament competition will also create camaraderie and friendships that will last a lifetime.
